Abstract (EN)
This study bases on Barutçu Khan, one of the Ottoman trade buildings in Şanlıurfa. The aim of this study is the research for an appropriate function by analyzing the present condition of the restoration possibilities in the structure to conserve it for the future generations. The existing condition of Barutçu Khan was analyzed and its original condition investigated by comparative studies. Moreover, historical analysis and restitution project were prepared. As a result, an appropriate function was identified and hence, a restoration project was proposed.
