The main reasons why this is the case are due to the deterioration of the natural structure and the expansion of urbanization towards flood areas. In this study, the causes of floods and floods experienced in various regions and the effects of the measures taken in this regard are mentioned. The choice of wrong methods in stream improvement works in the region and the expansion of settlements towards river and stream beds cause many people to suffer and unfortunately lose their lives. In addition, the presence of dams in countries where three rivers pass creates dangers of different dimensions, such as the simultaneous opening of the dam gates as a result of high rainfall.
