Abstract (EN)

In order to increase the productivity in broccoli cultivation, studies are carried out to increase the productivity by using vermicompost and coelom fluid as an alternative to fertilizers. Vermicompost can increase plant productivity by regulating the water holding capacity of the soil. In addition, soil coelom fluid applied to the plant can provide resistance to harmful bacteria in the soil and provide durability in plants. In this thesis study, the physiological, morphological and plant productivity effects of coelom fluid and vermicompost in broccoli cultivation were investigated. Monet broccoli (Brassica oleracea L. var. italica) variety was used as plant material in the study. Broccoli plants were first divided into four separate groups (control group, vermicompost group, coelom fluid group and coelom fluid + vermicompost group) and fertilizer (vegetative organs) was applied to each group separately at certain concentrations and times to obtain development and plant content analysis data. According to the analysis results, it was observed that when vermicompost and coelom fluid were applied together, it accelerated the length and width of the leaf, and the stem growth, and the plant development. Regarding the secondary metabolite levels, total phenol (75.19 mg/mL), antioxidant substance (61.97%) and flavonoid level (0.014 mg/mL) were found to be higher in vermicompost, while total colony count (200 CFU/mL) was found to be lower. Color change was observed in all plant samples, and when total phenol content was examined, it was measured that the antioxidant analysis in the samples using coelom fluid + vermicompost had a higher value than the control group. According to the mineral substance analysis results in the samples using coelom fluid + vermicompost; phosphorus, cadmium and lead values were below the determined limit, and aluminum, iron, magnesium, potassium and sodium were higher than those in the control group plants.
