Abstract (EN)

This thesis study was carried out in three greenhouse covered with 6 m2 floor area and 2 m side height in the experimental area of Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Agricultural Research and Application Center. The study started in April 2018 and was completed at the end of June. Temperature, humidity, solar energy and development parameters of lettuce plant were measured in greenhouses. For this purpose, sensors are installed in each greenhouse to obtain temperature, humidity and radiation energy values. Temperature and humidity measurements were recorded 24 hours. The solar energy values were measured between 10:00 and 16:00. These values are between 202-890,8 W.m-2 in KOS (control greenhouse), 179-606,7 W.m-2 in MS (blue greenhouse) and 212,6-770,1 W.m-2 in KS (red greenhouse). In order to examine the developmental parameters of lettuce, fresh weight, plant height, stem length, number of leaves, head diameter, bitterness and plant stem rates were examined. It was determined that all values such as fresh weight, head diameter, number of leaves, plant height, stem length, bitterness and plant stem rate were high in the control greenhouse. When the values of blue and red greenhouses were examined, it was determined that the plant height and bitterness were higher in the red greenhouse, fresh weight, head diameter, number of leaves, stem length and plant stem rates were higher in blue greenhouse than red greenhouse. It is a desirable quality feature that the rate of bitterness and plant stem rate in lettuce is low. Blue greenhouse is the lowest rate of bitterness, while the lowest rate of plant stem is determined to be the red greenhouse. it is concluded that the rate of bitterness and plant stem in the region will be obtained by using colored covering material for lettuce plant. As a result, all measured values were higher in the control greenhouse. Therefore, it is concluded that the enterprises that will make production in the region will realize when they use the colored greenhouse covering materials.
