Supplier selectionin the ceramic sector is are search with multi-criteria decision making methods

Supplier selection, which is the most important ring of the supply chain management, is one of the strategic decisions application by business. The purpose of this study is to choose the supplier selection which is about to be made from alternatives, by the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Grey Relational Analysis methods which are the Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods, considering the supplier criteriain the most convenient for business, in the fuzzy environment, considering the information obtained from the interview which is made with the desicion makers of the ceramic sectors. Supplier selection is multi-criterian decision problem is including several criteria. It is mandatory that the supplier which be selected to distinguish it from other supplier to make the comparison between each other. Therefore, bilateral comparisons of the criteria is required. Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods and the AHP, in order to make a decision the supplier selection criteria is a method which is needed for. To make this work for supplier selection, firstly, weights criteria has been determined and put in order by usingAnalytic Hierarchy Process. Then supplier has put in using Grey Relational Analysis methods. As a result of the study; it has been seen that the price is the weightiest criteria, the supplier with the highest weight has been selected.
