Abstract (EN)

This thesis includes the investigation and evaluation of the work titled Cezzabu'l-Kulub, written by the sufist and also the commentator Sihabuddinn Sivasi, who lived in the XIV and XV centuries. Sivasi spent the first years of his life in Sivas and the rest in Ayaslug (Selcuk). The author was one of the first period scholars of the Ottoman Empire and one of the followers of the Zeyniyye sect. Our study has two purposes: the first is to reveal Sivasi's mystical side. The second is to give information about the content of the work named Cezzabu'l-Kulub. Although there is an article by Sivasi and Fatih Cınar about the work in question, the author's mystical understanding has not been studied in all details. We tried to clarify this aspect of Sivasi a little more and to present his thoughts on the field of Sufism by comparing it with the views of the Sufis before him. In this context, there are two works describing Sivâsi's Sufi thoughts. In our thesis, Sivasi's mystical point of view has been tried to be examined in the light of the work named Cezzabu'l-Kulub. Our thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction part, the studies about Sivasi, the subject, purpose and method of the thesis are included. In the first chapter; Information was given about the author's lifetime, his life, his scientific personality, his works and the religious order he was a part of. In the second chapter, six manuscript copies of Cezzabu'l-Kulub, one of which is the author's copy, are described and evaluated, and information is given about the copies and content of the work. In the third chapter, the three oldest copies of the work in terms of history were compared and rewritten in computer environment. The differences between the copies are determined and indicated in the footnotes, and some information about the persons named in the work are included. With this method, the verification process was made and the translation of the work in question was taken. Keywords: Sufism, religious order, Cruise Leech, Şihâbüddîn Sivâsî, Attracting hearts
