Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study; The general benefits and costs of the dams built/under construction in the Southeastern Anatolia Region and in the province of Siirt to the economy of Siirt province have been examined and a Cost-Benefit Analysis has been made for the dams built in Siirt province. Information was provided for each dam that is planned to be built in Siirt and is at the project stage, and as a result of the necessary research, the benefits and effects of the dams are emphasized in detail. In terms of Cost-Benefit Analysis, it was decided that the construction of the dam is appropriate for the province of Siirt. With the construction of dams in Siirt province, it is seen that Siirt province has been moved forward in the field of agriculture, energy and tourism.
