Abstract (EN)

Company valuation is a process used to understand a company's financial health, performance, and future potential. Valuation involves determining the value of elements such as a company's assets, revenues, cash flow, and growth potential. Company valuation plays a significant role in situations involving investors, potential buyers or sellers, mergers or acquisitions, initial public offerings, or offering stock options. Factors such as a company's efforts to increase its own value, investors' expectations for returns that can measure a company's value, and corporate mergers have made company valuation even more important in today's business environment. There are currently various Company Valuation Approaches used in the capital market sector and literature. Some of these approaches have been employed in the valuation of Turkish Airlines Inc., which are the subjects of this study. The aim of this thesis study is to obtain the most appropriate market value of the company to be evaluated. The financial statements and data of the company were obtained from the Public Disclosure Platform. Methods based on different company valuation approaches have been used to determine the appropriate market value using the obtained data. According to the data obtained from the discounted cash flow analysis, the value of the company with the discounted cash flow approach is higher than the values obtained from the asset-based and market-based multipliers. The value of the company was calculated by the average of the results obtained from the company valuation approaches.
