Abstract (EN)

This study examines Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge of classroom teachers for the 4th class unit of electricty in our life, their Self-Efficacy, Attitudes and their lecturing with Motivation content and aims to reveal the relations among them. The study used "descriptive" pattern model and "Mixed method" which includes both quantitative and qualitiative research methods. Therefore the researcher collected quantitative data with the the "screening" method by the help of scales and then collected qualitative data through "case study" method to complete this data and obtained more valid and reliable data. For this purpose; quantitative data of the study was obtained from the semistructured interviews made with 486 classroom teachers working in the primary schools in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara for the academic year of 2013-2014 and quantitative data was obtained from the semi structured interviews made with 31 classroom teachers in the same schools. Analysis of quantitative data was done by using of the t-test, one-way Anova and Tukey Post Hoc test through a statistics package program; the relation between the dependent and independent variants was tested with Pearson correlation while the effect was tested with the regression analysis. Analysis of qualitative data was done by the descriptive analysis method. It was concluded in the end of the study according to the correlation analyses that there was a statistically significant relation between Self-Efficacy and TPACK, Self-Efficacy and LWMC, TPACK and LWMC, Attitude and LWMC, Self-Efficacy and Attitude, TPACK and Attitude. It was also concluded according to the regression analyses that Self-efficacy level of teachers increased TPACK level, Self-efficacy level increased LWMC level, TPACK level increased LWMC level, Attitude level increased LWMC level, Self-efficacy level increased Attitude level and TPACK level increased Attitude level. It was also concluded that qualitative analyses supported these results. If we generally evaluate the outcomes of the study, education technologies need to be integrated to the education environments and used actively in order to ensure that teachers and students reach information more quickly, that permanent learning is achieved, that classrooms teachers will have a better level of lecturing with contents of Self-Efficacy, Attitude and Motivation as our age is the age of information and technology. Keywords: Attitude, electric, mixed methods research, motivation, self-efficacy, technological pedagogical content knowledge.
