Abstract (EN)
Turkey known as the multicultural structure of the geography of the place, is faced with intense migration movements in recent years. As a result of the migration movements, it is known that there are approximately 1.5 million international students in Turkey. It has been observed that the studies related to teachers carrying out the educational activities of these students are limited. This study aims to reveal the relationship between the attitudes towards technology and the intercultural understanding levels of teachers with international students in their class and their perceptions of professional competence. This study, designed in correlational research among quantitative research methods, was carried out with 393 teachers in Kayseri province who have international students in their classes. In the study, "The Attitude Scale for Technology" was used to measure teachers' attitudes towards technology, "The Intercultural Understanding Scale" was used to measure their intercultural understanding, "General Competencies Scale of Teaching Profession" was used to measure their perceptions of general professional competence. "Personal information form" was used to explain the relationship between descriptive information and variables. The data obtained from the teachers were analyzed through "Independent samples T-Test, One-way Variance Analysis (ANOVA), Canonical Correlation, and Multiple Linear Regression" via the SPSS 25.0 package program. As a result of the study, it was determined that teachers' attitudes toward technology are very high, their intercultural understanding is high, and their perceptions of general professional competence are very high. A meaningful and positive relationship was found between teachers' attitudes toward technology, their intercultural understanding, and their perceptions of general professional competence. As a result of the study, various recommendations were presented to researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
