Abstract (EN)

The goal of this study is to examine the daily migration of labor force from Georgia to Turkey. In order to achieve this analysis, I consider both migrant workers and those who have been effected by the migration; I ask the following questions: how they percieve the conditions under which they live; how they arrange the daily social relations and interactions in their daily lives. Related to this aim, the theme is examined on the basis of theoretical framework consisting of ethnomethodology and network analysis and finally the research data is evaluated. Field research is designed on the bases of those nine themes: "trans-borders migration and migrancy", "daily migration of labor force" , "perception of border", "social relations network", "working life and employee-employer relations", "gender", "prostitution", "Hopa" and "ideas about the future". In this study 23 Georgian migrant workers and 16 Turkish citizens those who have been effected by the migration are being considered as sample from Hopa's population. In-depth interviews are conducted with these 39 participants. As a result of the field research, it has been evaluated that a new conceptualization called "Border Capitalism" has emerged that describes the organization of migrant workers and those that affected by the migration and it also defines different examples of daily migration of labor force.
