Abstract (EN)

A Kurdish intellectual Mela Mehmûdê Bazîdî, has achieved something about two centuries ago, that no other individual had achieved in the Kurdology / Kurdish Studies field before him. The Kurdish literature that were produced before Bazîdî's productions were all written in verse method. The prose literature, which was written about Kurds until Bazîdî's era was only in other languages, not in Kurdish. Bazîdî's literary works are the breaking point in the Kurdish literature. Bazîdî has written in Kurmanji Kurdish in many different disciplines. Titled as "Kurdish Traditions and Customs", this thesis includes social anthropological elements. It is a short thesis, however it is vastly informative. Bazîdî's thesis in prose format and written in Kurdish. We have studied Bazîdî's piece with a critical approach, within etnography discipline. We have presented a general overview of Bazîdî's life, the process of literal productions and the content of his works in this paper.
