The life of Yunus Kaya, a latest Erzurum scientific, and approaches to my suffic

In this study, we tried to deal with the life of Yunus Kaya, a scholar of Erzurum, and his approaches to Sufism. Yunus Kaya is a scholar who lived in Erzurum between 1927-2015. Yunus Kaya, who received his first education in his village, then studied madrasah style from M. Sadık Solakzâde, one of the Mufti of Erzurum, for seven years. During the years he studied at the madrasah, he studied 19 hours a day. After Yunus Kaya graduated from the madrasah, he went to Egypt to study. He studied at al-Azhar University in Egypt for a total of eight years. He holds a master's degree at the same university. He starts his doctorate after his master's degree, but returns to Turkey without completing his doctorate. France also wants to do a doctorate, but since there is no equivalence, she cannot do it. Later, he enrolled in the Kulliyetü'ş-Şerîa ve'l-Âdâb Faculty of Baghdad University, whose equivalence was accepted in Turkey. One year of education in this faculty is considered sufficient and he graduates from here in 1966 by writing two graduation thesis. After returning to Turkey, he worked as a provincial mufti for a total of 9 years in various provinces. Yunus Kaya started working at Atatürk University Faculty of Theology in 1975. He teaches Islamic Philosophy, Arabic and Logic courses as well as Kalam and Sufism courses for eighteen years in this faculty. Yunus Kaya prepares the works of Kalam and Sufism as lecture notes for the students in the faculty. Later, together with his student Zeki Koçak, they review and write these two books, provided that they do not exceed six pages a day. Yunus Kaya is a scholar who has developed himself in the fields of Kalam, Fiqh and Logic. He was greatly influenced by Ghazali, whom he mentioned from time to time while giving lectures. Yunus Kaya made occasional quotations from Gazzâlî's Ihya and other Sufi works while he was compiling his work called Sufism. Yunus Kaya, who received his mercy in Erzurum in 2015, is buried next to the Mosque he had built in Tortum Serdarlı.
