Abstract (EN)

İn this study, it is aimed to reveal the effect of private instruction which is applied during the teaching of climate issues that take part in social studies program on success compared to the direct expression method. This search is a experimental study and it was organized according to the preliminary test, final test and permanency test. A success test was applied to gather data in the search. This study was applied on 40 students of sixth grade at Lalahan Serdar Tosun primary School, in 2009-2010 Education-Instruction year, in Ankara-Mamak. During the expression of the issues of ? four seasons? and ? different places different lives? which take place in the unit of ?life on the earth? , private inctruction method was applied to the 6-A class which is the experiment group and a classic method was applied to the students of 6-B class who are the control group. A new success test was prepared to evaluate whether the sudents show a differentiation or not at the end of the search. This test was applied to the both groups either at the beginning as a preliminary test or at the end as a final test.According to the preliminary test results, it was seen that there was no difference between the two groups. When the final test results were examined, it could be seen that the success points of the experiment group whom were applied the private instruction method was higher than the point of the control group whom were applied the classic method.
