Examining the relationship between unemployment anxiety and school alienation among students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between unemployment in students studying at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Sport Sciences in the of the 2020-2021 academic year. Material and Methods: The sample of the study consisted of students who were determined by the Simple Random Sampling Method, one of the Random Sampling Methods. The population of there search consisted of students (n=386) studying in undergraduate programs of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, Sports Management and Recreation within the body of Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Sports Sciences in the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. This study is an online survey application. The scales are theUnemployment Anxiety Level Scale and the Student Alienation Scale. The data obtained from the questionnaire and scale applications were evaluated in the SPSS 25.0 package program at the 95% confidence intervaland at the 0.05 significance level. Results: Considering the beta coefficient value, t value and significance level of the independent variables; It was determined that unemployment anxiety had a statistically significant effect on alienation from school (t=.--10,729 p<0.05).
