Abstract (EN)

This thesis study seeks to explore the link between nutritional behavior and attitudes among male football students at the Paris Saint Germain Academy Bursa club. Conducted between December 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023, the research involved 140 active child athletes. Data on personal characteristics, nutritional habits, and anthropometric measurements were gathered through face-to-face surveys, alongside the administration of the Attitude Scale towards Healthy Nutrition (HBITS), a 24-hour food consumption record, and the Nutrition Behavior Scale (BDI). Analysis was carried out using SPSS 25.0 and BEBIS programs. Although no significant relationship was found between BMI percentile values and attitudes towards healthy nutrition, a statistically significant correlation was observed between fluid consumption and malnutrition. The study reveals that healthy eating habits are associated with levels of nutritional knowledge, meal consistency, and positive attitudes towards healthy nutrition. The findings aim to contribute to the existing literature and stimulate future research endeavors in this domain. Key Words: Adolescent, Football, Male, Nutrition, Attitudes Towards Healthy Nutrition, Nutritional behavior
