The effects of knowledge management practices and organizational intelligence on innovation performance: A research in the information technologies sector

In today's world where global competition is increasing, the methods that firms prefer to gain competitive advantage are differentiating. The organizational intelligence, which includes the innovative practices brought by the high technology and the experiences of the company so far, has become the essential elements for creating new generation competitive strategies. The study aims to investigate whether knowledge management practices and organizational intelligence have an impact on the innovation performance of the firm within the framework of resource-based theory and to investigate empirical fieldwork in the technology and informatics companies. In the study, a questionnaire was formed by combining the scales and variables included in the articles and theses published in international journals with a holistic approach. Various findings were obtained by applying structural equation model to the database formed by 495 questionnaires. According to the results; the more active the information management practices, which are one of the most important independent variables of the study, the stronger the relationship between the firm's growth performance and innovation performance. The other argument, organizational intelligence, contributes to the firm's financial and growth performance at different levels. In accordance with the findings, the results of the study were discussed and suggestions were made to both academicians and administrators.
