Abstract (EN)

This study is realized to determine positive and negative self perception level of the male adolescent who take a part in an ofence. To determine the positive and negative self perception level of the male adolescent, male and female adolescent who didn?t take a part in an offence were chosen as control group. On the other hand it was described on the study that whether age, educational level, educational level of parents and economical level of the family have an effect on positeve and negative self perception level or not.The universe of the study is, male adolescent who take part in an offence in Diyarbakır, and male and female a adolescent who are at different high schools in Diyarbakır. Sample group created from, 50 male adolescent who take part in an offence, 50 male adolescent who didn?t take part in an offence and 50 famale adolescent who didn?t take part in an offence.For to collect data, `Personal Information Form? which has been prepared by resaercher and `Offer Self- İmage Questionnaire (OSIQ)? have been used.Datas appreciated by SPSS program. Anova (one ?way) and Tukey HSD technic were used at appraisal.As a result, it was determined meaingful difference at the sub-scalas like family relationships, coping-mastery of the external world, individual values, sexual attidutes, emotional tone, impulse control, vocational and educational goals and it wasn?t determined meaningful differences at the sub-scalas like body image, superior adjustment, psychopatology and social relationship between the male adolescent who take a part in an offence and male and female adolescent who didn?t take apart in offence.
