An assessment of judgements for the children driven to crime in terms of particular variables

The children driven to crime must be understood by the entire society and researchers on this field, as well as their biological parents. The constant increase in the number of crime types and the children driven to crime is obvious in statistical data. This research is on the children driven to crime aims at studying the judgment process and verdicts, also putting forward ideas on the causes of children?s involvement in crimes, characteristics of those children, control decisions and crime involvement process.The research covers children driven to crime along with 320 files and relevant 65 out of them which have been tried and resolved by Magistracy of İstanbul Gaziosmanpaşa Juvenile Court in 2009 from January to September.The universe of 320 files and verdicts have been investigated one by one, accessible characteristics of the children have been tried to be detected. The sampled 65 files have been examined separately. The suspects, children driven to crime have been interviewed in order to acquire all the information needed.Below is the summary of the results of the research:1.The education life of the children driven to crime comes to an end within the very first years of the compulsory education and so most of those children are illiterate.2.Almost all of those children belong to families from low socio-economic group3.Since the mentioned children have large families, communication betweeen children and the family is limited and also not so possible because of lack of communication knowledge of parents4.Age of appearance of a behavior regarded as crime by our law correspond to adolescence5.Children driven to crime exhibit to a great extent substance misuse and addiction6.It has been understood that the children work in environments and conditions which is not suitable for ?children life?, while they are supposed to be under education according to law.
