Sustainable leadership: A research on employees of 4 and 5 star hotels

This research aims to determine the perceptions of employees in hotel businesses regarding sustainable leadership behavior. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 375 participants working in 4 and 5 star hotels operating in Ankara and the data were analyzed. In the study, percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean and standard deviation values and difference tests (t-test and Anova) were used. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the participants' perception levels of sustainable leadership behavior were high. In addition, it was concluded that the ethical and social responsibility dimensions of sustainable leadership were perceived more by the participants. In terms of demographic variables, there was no difference in perceptions of sustainable leadership behavior. Keywords: Hotels, Leadership, Sustainable Leadership, Sustainable Tourism, Tourism
