Abstract (EN)
This event, which started with the burning of Muhammet Bouazizi in front of the governor building of Sidi Buzid in Tunisia on December 17, 2010, spreading the entire Middle East in a short time and the Arab Spring was given its effect in a short time. This event, which was shown as the biggest event of the 21 st century, caused the change of administrations in some countries and the civil war that was still going on in some countries. Undoubtedly, one of the most affected countries was Syria. The events that jumped to Syria in 2011 turned into a civil war that killed many people. Because of the war, many Syrians had to leave their country and emigrate. Surely this migration was most affected by Turkey. 3 million 606 thousand 732 people who came to our country first began to settle in many parts of the country behind the border cities. One of these border cities was the İslâhiye district of Gaziantep. In this study, after giving information about migration and the Arab Spring, the effects of Syrian refugees on Islahiye were tried to be given.
