Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to analyze the economic analysis of farm manure practices of farmers for sustainable dairy cattle breeding in Burdur province which has an important place in dairy cattle breeding in Turkey. The main material of the study was the primary data obtained from 102 dairy cattle farms in the provinces of Burdur, Merkez, Yeşilova and sub-provinces of Bucak. Farms were divided into two size groups based on the Animal Unit (AU) they own. The obtained data were analyzed according to these two groups. According to the results of the research, the presence of 17.98 head (12.65 AU) in the first group farms, 55.98 head (41.39 AU) in the second group farms and 33.63 head (24.48 AU) cattle were calculated. The amount of manure obtained from dairy cattle farms has been defined as 104.98 tons/year in group 1 farms, 367.86 tons/ year in 2nd group and 213.23 tons/year in farms. Almost all of the dairy cattle farms (98.04%) in the research region were also engaged in crop production. Accordingly, it was found that the 1st and 2nd group farms had 77.44 decares and 122.69 decares respectively and the enterprises had 96.06 decares of land. It was determined that 45.2% of the plant nutrient need required for plant production was met from manure. In addition, it was determined that the nutrient balance was met with chemical fertilizers in the 1st and 2nd group farms because the whole plant nutrient requirement was not met from the manure. In addition, it was determined that the nutrient balance was met with chemical fertilizers in the 1st and 2nd group enterprises because all of the plant nutrient requirement was not met from the manure. However, it has been determined that nutrient losses are related to the excess in use of chemical fertilizers in all enterprises. Accordingly 1. and 2. in group farms, 7.14 kg and 15.99 kg, respectively, the average of the farms 11.80 kg, surplus nutrient substances were calculated. This is due to the excessive use of the economic loss resulting from the middle 1. and 2. the group has 65.13 TL and 152.58 TL, respectively, and the average economic loss of the groups has been calculated as 110.65 TL. Factor analysis was conducted to determine the factors affecting the sustainable farming perceptions of farmers with stable manure and chemical fertilizer applications. As a result of the factor analysis, four factors whose eigenvalues are greater than one were determined. Factor 1: "determination of the amount of chemical fertilizer and manure and the perception of productivity" was determined as the most important explanatory factor. Factor 1 explains 19.06% of the total variance. 2 analysis was applied to determine whether there is a difference between the farmer's sustainable agricultural practices and farms groups. Among farmers, sustainable manure practices and farms groups, there are statistically a significant relationship between the sales of manure, whether or not there is fertilizer pit in the plant, random disposing of manure to the environment, keeping manure closed, using machine power to collect manure status.
