The effect of tamiflu on choromosomal abnormality in human peripheral lymphocytes

The main aim of this study is to examine the effect of `tamiflu? (of which active ingredient is `oseltamivir? and used in the treatment of influenza(flu)) on chromosomal abnormality in human peripheral blood lymphocyte.İn this study peripheral blood, received from 2 men and 2 women, in total 4 healthy individuals. Then it was studied with this blood in `in vitro condition?. Adding the formed control groups and dozes groups, results were analyzed and evaluated from the cytogenetic perspective.The formed groups are 0,5 micro g/ml, 1 micro g/ml and 2 micro g/ml, totaly 3 dose groups. In addition to this dose groups, two control groups were formed for DMSO which is the solvent of oseltamivir and for a normal control group.Dose groups, were applied with a combination of two separate time including 24 hours and 48 hours.Totaly 2000 metaphases were examined in this study.
