Abstract (EN)
Transport documents used for cargo transport include extremely important information for transport and loading, making transport smooth and secure. Therefore, documents must be fully and accurately prepared and used. Otherwise, the responsibility of the parties in the transportation relationship may be raised. In the first section, the general principles of Transport Law are covered by the concept of transportation, the types of transport, the elements of the goods transport contract, the parties, and the legal nature. In the second section, the transport documents are described in the International Conventions and Turkish Law in comparative terms. During this explanation, the transport types were taken into account, and transportation documents for land, iron, sea and airway transport were examined under different headings. In the third section, the liability and liability disclaimers arising from the transport documents were systematically followed and reviewed in the second section.
