Scientific study of the questionnaire for the certificate of employees in textile sector

Although it has been necessary for a long time, professional classifying and certification is a new term in Turkey. Many researches and studies are being held firstly by Türkiye İş Kurumu (Turkey Job Association) and afterwards by Mesleki Yeterlilik Kurumu (Vocational Qualifications Authority). One of those studies is the national competencies constituted by the institutes which are authorized by Professional Competence Corporation. After the approval of National Competencies, same institutes have been establishing the measurement system which is defined and illustrated in competence reports. The aim of the research is to create an evaluation study on the validity and reliability of questionnaires used in national exams which are one of the measurement tools of professional competencies which determine the working quality and productivity of life and also are one of the key dynamics of national prosperity. Firstly item analyse has been implemented for the data's collected by questionnaires which are established by thread branch of textile to measure professional knowledge. Afterwards, the correlations between education-experience and questionnaires have been evaluated by independent-samples t tests. The results point out that some items in questionnaires should be excluded, that there is no meaningful correlation between questionnaire points and experience but contrarily there is a meaningful correlation between questionnaire points and education.
