Abstract (EN)
In this study, atmospheric dispersion and deposition of radionuclides originates from Orhaneli, Tuncbilek and Seyitomer Coal Fired Power Plants located in Western Anatolia were modeled. CAP88PC software developed by EPA has been used to estimate atmospheric dispersion and deposition. Required meteorological data for modeling study were obtained from Turkish State Meteorological Service. The model was applied for all plants after the source terms and design parameters added. The results showed that radioactivity concentration of 232Th higher than radioactivity concentration of 40K and 226Ra around the Orhaneli Coal Fired Power Plant due to flying ash concentrations. Atmospheric dispersions were obtained as parallel with each other because same meteorological data were used for both plants. According to analyses', a yearly dispersion of radioactive pollutant deposition dominated on north and west directions.
