New debates on society 5.0: Konya smart city applications

This study deals with the concepts of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0, which pave the way for new discussions on society. Industry 4.0, described as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, is a new industrial revolution because it includes disruptive technological developments such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and cloud systems. In parallel with Industry 4.0, he declared that a new social revolution was experienced by Japan and the transition from the information society to the "Super Intelligent Society." Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 concepts need to be clarified, and no sociological study exists on the subject. This study it is aimed to define the concepts of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0, establish the relationship between the two concepts, and determine their social reflection. In this direction, the effect of two concepts on smart cities as a social reflection has been analyzed. The experimental research technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used to compile general information about the subject and lay the groundwork for further studies. Thus, a general framework was formed by examining the subject's reports, papers, research, and publications.
