Abstract (EN)

It is a common and dynamic situation that world politics and international relations undergo changes and transformations with changing conditions. The inputs and outputs that affect the process vary in every change and transformation and can update themselves. The inputs included in the system until the Second World War made the transnational actors an important output of the system after the war. Thus, whether transnational actors other than the state have become more powerful in world politics has been an important subject of debate in the literature. On the other hand, apart from their relations with states, the relations of transnational actors other than the state with each other are increasingly involved in world politics. Today, many non-governmental organizations and multinational corporations are able to cooperate. However, these actors are not always involved in cooperation, and the transnational society, which encompasses a voluntary but limited community formed for a specific purpose without seeking citizenship ties in the interactions of transnational actors with each other, whether cooperative or oppositional relations, becomes an important variable in the equation. Thus, in the relations of transnational actors, the role of the transnational community as an instrument of oppression is becoming an increasingly decisive element. Therefore, in order to better understand transnational relations, it is necessary to first understand the nature of transnational actors. The aim of this study is to explain transnational relations and actors and to reveal both their place in the world system and their relations with each other in accordance with the logic of transnationalism. In this context, the study was completed in three parts. In the first part, transnationalism is discussed with its origins and criticisms. Second part; It is the section where transnational actors and their relations are explained. The historical development of the three transnational actors is discussed within the framework of transnationalism. The third part is the section where transnational relations are evaluated through a case study within the framework drawn by the first two chapters. Keywords: Multinational Corporations, Non-Governmental Organizations, Transnationalism, Transnational Relations, Transnational Society
