Turgut Özakman's play writing

This study, in which it has been analized the plays and play writing of Turgut Özakman who is from 1950 generation Turkish Play Writers, consists of three chapters excluding its Introduction and Conclusion chapters.In its introduction chapter, it has been offered information about the study?s purpose, scope and method. The first chapter consists of Turgut Özakman?s biography, complete list of his Works and reward which he gained, and his opinion about theatre and play writing.In the second chapter it has been analysed author?s twenty plays which have been published, of which five are short plays. In this chapter in which also appear the plays? plot, the examination has been made under the titles of ?Structure and Message?, ?Characters and Characterization?, ?Time and Environment?, ?Style and Language?.The third chapter constitutes complete and comparative evaluating of each one of plays analysed individualy in previous chapter under the titles ?Content?, ?Structure?, ?Characterization?, ?Dialog Order and Language?, ?Humour?, ?Critical Approach?, ?Song and Dance?.The conclude chapter is the final chapter of the study, which consist of general concluding of the research and of the analyses carried out.In the study?s additions chapter, it has been offered separately lists of the namings, the idioms, the saying games, the likenings which can be seen in the plays, and a table related the performings of plays.
