Donor in Turkish world tales

In this study on the donor in Turkish fairy tales, the structural method was used. The donor is a helper hero who appears before the hero at the beginning of the narrative, tests him and rewards him with an object or guidance as a result of the hero's actions as a result of the test. The flow of the narrative changes as a result of the things the donors bestow on the protagonist, and in the continuation of the narrative, the protagonist gives the "thing" that will be useful to the protagonist in dealing with the obstacles he/she faces. The traditional model formed by this smallest unit is analysed archetypically. In the study, magic tales in Altai, Azerbaijan, Bashkir, Gagauz, Khakas, Kazakh, Kazan Tatar, Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Uyghur, Tıva, Turkey and Yakut fields were analysed. In the tales compiled from these fields, the donor, the place and time where the hero and the donor meet, the reason for forgiveness, and finally the object donated were analysed. Helping and solidarity play an important role in the structure of Turkish society. As in Turkish society, it is seen that cooperation is frequently encountered in Turkish folk narratives. In fairy tales, it can be said that the protagonist does not achieve a goal alone, but achieves success thanks to helpers. This help varies according to the hero's efforts, actions and purpose.
