Modern examples of periodicals in the Western sense is to be seen in conjunction with the Tanzimat years in Turkish literature. At that time, the newspapers and magazines, are located in a very important contribution to the modernization of our literature. İntense relationship between literature and society reveals that this periodic affect not only literature but also social life. In this case, a sizable increase is also evidenced in the number of our newspapers and magazines. When we reached the Republic era, we have an important archieve of periodicals and newspapers. This situation contunies in the Repuplic era. Periodics still continues to be the main actors of our literature. More specificaly, limitet or technique periodics began to appear, along with the increase in the number of magazines. It is seen journalism and journalistic activities in different areas from women's magazines to professional journals and scientific journals. One of this special periodic is Turkish Air Magazine. In thıs magazine has been publish not only technique issues but also literature. There has been a few another periodics about aviation, but these magazines interested in technique or military part of aviation. However, one of the another important thing about Turkish Air Magazine is, it interested in aviation literature, and it is one of the first periodics which is interested aviation literature. In this way Turkish Air Magazine laying of foundation of Turkish Aviation Literature. There is not enough scientific studies related to themes of aviation in Turkish literature. Scientific method to examine the first magazine dealing with this theme, in particular, the creation of the index will provide a significant contribution in this regard. Literary researchers do not know enough yet about Turkish Air Magazine. We will introduce this magazine and this study will try to contribute to filling the gap.
