Abstract (EN)
Entrepreneur is the someone who takes risks, improves himself or herself, use the new etchnologies and sources efficicntly, keep his or her business sustainable, and adapts to changing conditions. In the present time, at least half of the whole world population is composed of the women, and traditional understanding seems to be an important barrier for the women to become socio-eocomic. Under these circumstances, determining how women perceive enviromental uncertanities, manage risks and threats, turn them into opportunity, and compete against opponents is extremely important for country's economy and social development. In this study, we aimed to perform a qualitative study on the perceptions of womenentrepreneurs in enviromental uncertanity. Thus, a face to face interview were carried out with 30 Turkish women entrepreneurs in order to determine which difficulties they have in business life, and enviromental uncertainities can affect their decision making, includingcounter measures against difficultiesOverall, the findings were processed by using SPSS and MAXQDA. In conclusion, we showed that the women entrepreneurs were mostly active in the domestic market rather than the national and/or international markets, had some problems related to their roles in both private life and business enviroment, and in particular did not had lack of strong and solid educational background to be able to analyze the problems they faced with, as well as taking proper corrective actions in time.
