Legal consultancy under Turkish Civil ode

The subject of this study is "Legal Consultancy Under Turkish Civil Code". Legal Consultancy that is acknowledged as one of the guardianship organs in conjunction with guardian and trustee is regulated under article 429 of Turkish Civil Code. This study consists of three sections. In the first section, the concept and types of legal consultancy are emphazised and the differences between the legal consultancy and similar instituons are introduced. Under the title of "Assigment of Legal Consultancy" in the second section, the required qualifications of a person who is placed under legal consultancy and of a person who is assigned as legal consultant are described and the proceeding concerning the appointment of legal consultant is examined. In the last section of the study, the responsibilities of legal consultant and expiry of legal consultant's commision are emphasized.
