Ali Javit Oral in Turkish political life

The Republic of Turkey was established as a state that adopted a democratic, secular and social state approach and was based on popular sovereignty from the moment it was founded. People who have gained the trust and respect of the people from every city of the country were elected and became members of parliament and served in the Turkish Grand National Assembly to represent the people of their cities. Ali Cavit Oral, one of the important figures of his region, received a good education, spoke two languages, and as a member of a well-known and loved family, stepped into political life with the encouragement of those around him and his loved ones. He successfully represented his region in the parliament by serving as Niğde MP, Seyhan MP, Adana MP, and was also given the Ministry of Agriculture three times: in 1948 during the Hasan Saka Government, in 1949 during the Şemsettin Günaltay Government and in 1961 during the İsmet İnönü Government. He fulfilled his duty successfully. Ali Cavit Oral, who managed to make a name for himself throughout his life with the books and articles he wrote and the newspapers he published, in addition to his brilliant career in politics, has fit three published books, a newspaper and dozens of articles into his life of active politics for many years. In addition, coming from a farming family, he gave great importance to the development of agriculture in his region and country and pioneered the establishment of the Adana Farmers' Union Federation, one of the important organizations of Turkey.
