Abstract (EN)
This thesis is on the collocations of high frequency nouns in contemporary Turkish. The time related words "an/moment, ay/month, gün/day, gece/night, saat/hour, yıl/year" words were investigated of the basis of Turkish National Corpus. The collocations of these word forms, which have 2+ t-score value, were analysed regarding the semantic relatedness of collocates using concordance lines. Thus, the collocations were determined using both collocations via statistics and collocations via concordance methods, which can be said to be a hybrid approach. The final list of collocations was classifed under "noun-verb, adjective-verb, noun-noun" headings, and concordance lines for each collocations were represented in the study.
