Financial markets of turkey and Azerbaijan and applcability of Turkish financial products to Azerbaijan markets

The development of financial markets is directly correlated to regular and efficient use of financial products. If the financial markets are used correctly, they will have a great impact on economic development. They will also help decrease poverty and straighten the distribution of income. In particular, the development of capital markets lead to small business owners' inclusion into and having a marketshare of these capital markets, which in turn will add substantially to providing justice in the distribution of income in a given country or economic system.In these days in which the financial markets and the financial products have become so important, in this thesis, we will aim to scrutinize financial products that are traded in the Turkish and the Azeri financial markets. We will also try to find answers to what must be done for Azeri financial markets to become more efficient.In order to answer this question, we will first define the financial products traded in the Turkish and and Azeri financial markets, then we will analyze the differences in the process of trading in both markets, and finally we will posit and stress which financial products must be marketed in order for the Azeri market to become more efficient. The purpose here is to define how the Azeri financial markets could be used more efficiently in order to contribute to the economic development of Azerbaijan at large.Key Words: Baku Stock Exchange, Capital Market, Financial Products
