Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is, by comparing similarities and differences of PPS that implemented in Argentina and the evolution of PPS in Turkey, to make determinations about the future of the PPS in the case of a possible economic crisis. In the first part of study, it was given information about the PPS, conceptual framework and the other countries that implement the PPS. In the second part, the PPS in Turkey and a recent revisions were presented. And finally in the third part, the evolution of private pension system in Turkey and Argentina were compared by years in terms of private pension indicators (number of companies, number of participants, private pension funds that evaluated according to investment and its rates of return). This study was designed in the form of a field work based on the PPS data of countries. As a result, revisions are made to improve PPS in Turkey, which based on a rise in the number of participants. The demand for a rise in the number of participants increases the probability that compulsory participation in PPS will be proposed an item for the agenda.
