Abstract (EN)
In this study, environmental, environmental problems, environmental education, environmental sociology and evaluation of environmental education from a sociological point of view are discussed. Environmental education is among the most important tools that can be used to reduce and eliminate environmental problems. Through this training, it is aimed to raise environmentally conscious individuals. In terms of these characteristics, environmental education differs from environmental science or other ecological education. The aim of this study is to determine the social equivalence by emphasizing the importance of environmental education. On the other hand, it is aimed to address environmental problems and environmental processes from a sociological perspective.
