Abstract (EN)
The Environmental Kuznets Curve hypothesis, which tries to reveal the relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution, is a very popular research topic in the literature. The aim of this study is to test the Environmental Kuznets Curve hypothesis in Turkey with spatial analysis. According to the results of the research, an inverted U curve was determined for the period of 2011-2020. In addition, it has been determined that environmental pollution has a regional spillover effect within the scope of spatial relations and the Environmental Kuznets Curve has different effects in various regions of Turkey.
