Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the undergraduate programs in Modern Greek Language and Literature in Türkiye. The research was designed using a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through document analysis and examined using a descriptive analysis method. In this context, the Bologna course information packages of undergraduate Modern Greek Language and Literature programs from three universities in Türkiye were accessed. These packages were analyzed in terms of program qualifications, courses and learning outcomes, course content, recommended strategies, methods or techniques, and assessment and evaluation approaches. Bloom's taxonomy was taken into account during the analysis of program qualifications and learning outcomes. The structural and content-related aspects of the courses were examined based on the fundamental educational fields defined by the Turkish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQFHE). The findings reveal that nearly all program qualifications fall within the cognitive and affective domains. Due to the close historical relationship between language and literature, the course sequence in these programs typically begins with language courses, followed by history and literature, and concludes with culture courses. The distribution of these courses is nearly balanced between compulsory and elective categories, contributing to significant course diversity. The lecture method is the most commonly applied instructional technique, followed by question-and-answer and discussion methods. Course content analysis indicates a balanced distribution of compulsory and elective courses. Only written midterm and final examinations are employed in assessment and evaluation.
