Future perception of syrian foreigners covered by temporary protectoin in Turkey: Konya sample

One of the most important political events today is undoubtedly the Arab Spring. With the effect of domino stone, the chain of events affecting the entire Middle East, and therefore the whole world, has led to the change of governments in many countries, a revision of relations and the reshaping of the peoples. Syria is one of the countries that is affected by the spring but does not change the administration. The administration, which caused the death of a large number of people and the migration of hundreds of thousands of people from the country by resisting the demands of the people's change, has also caused the ethnic and sectarian structure of the country to change. The migrants of the Syrians were not recognized as refugees by the relevant laws and were taken under temporary protection. The aim of this study is to determine the problems and future perceptions of Syrians living in Konya in the context of temporary protection. Syrians are facing various problems under the temporary protection; it carries worry for the future and at the same time brings about various problems in terms of Turkey. Taking precautions for problems to adapt to local life and especially, to solve the psychological problems quickly will ensure that their perceptions of the future are positive.
