Analysis of the development process of digital banking in Turkey

The aim of this research is to examine the historical development of digital internet and mobile banking concepts, their contributions to banks, and their impact on financial development technologies. In line with this purpose, the researches and studies in the literature related to the concepts determined as the subject of the research were examined. Following the literature review, the concepts and titles related to the subject were included in the research. As a result of the research, it has been determined that digital internet and mobile banking systems, which have emerged in the banking sector, which has been most affected by the effects created by innovations and changes in technology, provide significant advantages and opportunities to bank customers. It has also been observed that there are some disadvantages along with the advantages. This research is considered important in terms of having information about the historical development of the concepts of digital internet and mobile banking, their contributions to banks, their impact on financial development technologies, benefiting the literature due to the limitation of documents in which digital internet and mobile banking phenomena are examined together, and guiding future research and studies.
