Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study to examine the functioning of Savings Financing Companies (SFC), which are Turkey examples of the savings-based financing system. The world examples of the savings-based finance system were researched and compared with the SFC system. In order to examine the SFC system, field research was carried out on the system together with the literature review, and interviews with company officials and customers provided the opportunity to get to know the system. During the interviews, various meetings were held with the head office and branch officials of six companies operating in the sector. The information received was analyzed by following the scientific steps of SWOT analysis, which is the most important analysis technique in the field of strategic management. As a result, the savings-based financing market has been evaluated. In order for the sector to work better, the positive aspects seen in foreign examples are presented in the conclusion section as a recommendation. Draft model proposals that companies can develop with their own means in order to prevent savings from being damaged in inflationary markets are included in the conclusion.
