Development of e-commerce in Turkey and factors affecting the demand for e-commerce: Eskişehir example

Today's technological developments, especially the rapid development of computer and internet technologies, have contributed significantly to the emergence of the information society. Rapid transformations in the information society have enabled people and businesses to do business using the internet effectively. However, it has led to the emergence of the concept of "e-commerce" in world economies. Businesses operating in Turkey need to effectively integrate with computer and internet technologies in order to increase their market share and competitiveness in the globalizing and digitalizing world economies. This research shows the impact of e-commerce on the structure of businesses in terms of efficiency, innovation and competition and its importance for Turkey. In line with technological developments, online shopping has increased around the world. Online shopping is frequently preferred by consumers because it is generally easy, saves time and has a variety of alternatives. Many e-commerce sites are opened in this direction. They aim to attract the attention of consumers with these e-commerce sites. In this study, it is aimed to analyze the e-commerce behaviors of people residing in Eskişehir and the factors affecting these behaviors. In this context, data in the research will be collected by survey method. SPSS statistical program will be used to analyze the data obtained.
