Multi̇modal transportati̇on i̇n Turkey's export: Example of export cargoes forwardi̇ng Europe through constanta port,Romani̇a"

Due to competition of international trade and development, together with infrastructure of transportation developments results growth at container transportation. In today's world as container transportation, multimodal transportation covers both at cost advantage for companies together with countries ecologic and port traffic development. In this study Romania's Constanza Port is studied in terms of multimodal transportation where offers alternative connections to other European ports also provides convenient infrastructure. Due that Constanza Port is located in Black Sea, strategically supported, railway, highway and hinterland connections availability creates cost advantage during container transportation. Especially she has important role at Turkey's export's distribution. In this study Cosnstanza Port has been studied in terms of multimodal transportation.
