Dealt with the feminist perspective "Institutionalization of the Women's Movement in Turkey: Women's Library and Information Center Foundation" thesis titled will be done a study on the difference between the feminist movement's departure form the periods in Turkey. Afterwards, an evaluation paper will be written on the situation of the women's movement. In the second part of the thesis; the institutions as a result of the women's movement in Turkey were discussed. In particular, it was aimed to show that the movement initiated by women in the field of employment, violence, knowledge and politics turned into a more organized structure. In the last part, an in-depth study will be conducted on the main research topic of the thesis The Women's Library and the Information Center Foundation. From the establishment process to the administrative structure, activities, publications, collections, trying to give a detailed information about the importance of the organization for women's movement will be emphasized. The main purpose of this thesis is; to hold the documents of the history of women, to protect and to transfer to future generations of an institution, to make visible the history of the institution. Thesis was based on archival researches, oral history interview, master's and doctoral theses, and screening of used literature. Former General Assembly Member Ceylan Orhun, Foundation Volunteer Burçin Topal Midilli, General Assembly Member Sönmez Taner and Foundation Founder Member Şirin Tekeli conducted oral history interviews. Four different people who supported and continue to support the Foundation in each different field were selected and tried to convey their experience and knowledge. The reason for conducting oral history interviews with these people is that they are easily accessible and able to plan. At the same time, a variety of news about KEKBMV, which was published in newspapers and magazines, was examined. In addition, the written sources produced by the Women's Library and Information Center Foundation and the archive of the institution of KEKBMV are among the sources of the study.
