It is only through a strong financial structure that businesses can handle their activities within the context of globalization. The financial structures of businesses are also affected by foreign sources as well as equity. Among these foreign resources is the great importance of bank loans. The purpose of this study is to specify the elements that banks consider important in the supply of bank loans that are effective in firms' capital structures. To this end, 514 employees in credit allocation units in deposit banks in Gaziantep, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır and Adıyaman provinces collected data on the study using face-to-face questionnaire. Explanatory questions in the questionnaire were combined under five main factors. According to the results of dependent and independent variables of Anova and T test analysis, it is seen that both costs, risks, evaluation of credits and credit's claims mentioned in the research are important also, banks attach importance to them during the process of credit criteria. Banks' operational periods, capital structure and asset size are factors that affect their behavior in credit supply differently. The age, gender, and learning status of employees are seen as the criteria that affects the credit approval process. Evaluations were made on how banks and firms should interpret these results.
