The position of Turkey among the regional integrations and a new vision: D-8

Along with changing economic and political balances in the World, both shrinking in existing markets, and scrapes due to integration movements on some political grounds has made it necessary for Turkey to get into new markets. There is an obvious need to pursue a multi-faceted foreign policy in order to make the relations more powerful in the regional integrations to which it is a party and to implant the relations on a sound basis. In this respect, it has been demonstrated trough this research that the relations of Turkey between integrations as a part of them. Then the D-8 and the relations between Turkey and the D-8 has studied in detail. Throughout the research time-series analysis has been applied due to evaluate impacts of the increasing of imports and exports of Turkey between the rest of the D-8 countries on the GDP. As a result of the analysis, the existence of a long-term relationship between the variables between 1990-2017 was identified. In addition, it is observed that there is a unilateral causality relationship between D-8s and Export and GDP variables. To sum up, a positive impact observed on the GDP of Turkey in accordance with increasing of exports from Turkey to other D-8 countries.
