Abstract (EN)

Political parties are the fundamentals of democracy. Yet, there is not an agreement between the righters about the accomplishment of the concept. In this sense, the concept is accomplished in different ways based up on the politicians' perspectives. In this study, the effects of alteration of leaders in political parties, reflection of it to the public and the party are given by taking Republican People's Party in hand. The aim of the study is to reveal the alteration and transition after the alteration of each leader. It has importance to examine a party which is on of the oldest parties of Republic. From Republican People's Party which was found by Atatürk, to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's RPP and the experiences until this period, basic discources and chancing politic styles by revealing as part of elite theory, it has been studied that the importance of four leader - Ismet Inönü, Bülent Ecevit, Deniz Baykal, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu – and their different political perspectives by comparing the lost two leaders Keywords: Politicial Parties, RPP, Elite Theory, Leader Change
