The tendencies of the theses on STEM which were done in Turkey

Purpose: The aim of this study is to determine the orientation of all postgraduate studies from 2014 to 2021 with content analysis. Material-Method: The sample of the research consists of master's and doctoral theses obtained from the national thesis center with the keyword STEM (FETEMM). The easily accessible sampling method was used. Content analysis, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The theses were analyzed using the thesis review form. Results: As a result of the research, it has been found that in the field of STEM, the studies were done the most in 2019, by women, at Gazi University, in the Institute of Educational Sciences, and in the Department of Mathematics and Science. The most used method in the studies that have been done is the mixed method. It has also been found that that the sample size was between 0-50 at most, secondary school students were mostly studied as the study group, the achievement test, attitude scale and interview form were used the most as data collection tools, and the most suitable sample and purposeful sample were used as the sample selection in the studies. It has been concluded that t-test is used the most in data analysis, STEM and STEM education keywords are used most as keywords, and bibliography is mostly used in the range of 101- 150 as bibliographic usage range. Conclusion: The idea that the research will contribute to this field and guide original studies has been adopted. Keywords: STEM, Content analysis, Document reviev
